Innovation in Business Centre
The Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC) was officially opened on 20th March 2006. The purpose of the IiBC is to support and facilitate the emergence of new market-led and knowledge-based companies in the region and, forge strategic links between the college and the world of industry and commerce.
The IiBC offers incubation / office / desk facilities and a supportive environment to potential entrepreneurs to assist them in taking their ideas from concept to full commercialisation. The IiBC enables companies to work in a secure, innovative, entrepreneurial environment as they progress through the various stages of a new company start-up.
A range of business development supports are available for client companies such as financial, legal, sales, marketing and export development including mentoring and networking facilities.
What the IiBC offers:
Every business is unique. We have designed different levels of services to cater for your particular situation and office space requirements. All offices come fully furnished and are internet-enabled.
Incubation Space:
Designed for start-up companies with ongoing business mentoring and support. We have offices ranging from 200 to 392 square feet, plus flexible lease terms.
Concept Desk Space:
Designed for individuals who are at the early stages of forming a company to undertake feasibility studies. The business will get a desk in a shared office, along with business development support.
Virtual Space:
Ideal for those at a very early stage who wish to create a professional presence without having to be physically based in the IiBC. Enables individuals a professional postal address and boardroom facilities.
